For a year now drawing plants has become an infallible way for me dealing with momentary anxiety and self doubt. It scares me because I’m never really sure if I’m going to ruin it, but it teaches me that knowing whether it’s going to work out or not is hardly ever the point of drawing or of life; and regardless of that, it’s always worth finding out for yourself anyway.
